I’m an Instructional Designer with a unique blend of expertise from the worlds of software and learning experience development.
My journey began in the tech industry in France and then in the U.S., where I honed my skills as a software developer, client consultant, and trainer in the corporate insurance sector. This experience not only sharpened my problem-solving skills and my ability to see projects through but also ingrained in me a deep understanding of user experience developed through in-depth needs assessments with subject matter experts.
I eventually settled in Austin, Texas. Following homeschooling my children in French, my native language, which involved creating learning materials from a variety of sources, I transitioned into the education sector, taking over many roles at a French school.
At the school, I created and managed a custom LMS, as well as the technical training and support for staff, teachers, and parents. I was also the IT Administrator and a part-time French teacher, evaluating firsthand what ed-tech tools I would develop and implement for the other teachers. This period was transformative, allowing me to develop and deliver impactful tools and online designs that empower educators.

As an Instructional Designer, whether designing interactive e-learning modules, developing comprehensive training materials, or creating intuitive learning platforms, I aim to bridge the gap between complex information and accessible, enjoyable learning.
My approach is rooted in:
Learner-Focused Design: Drawing from my software development experience, I analyze the nature of the gaps to create intuitive and engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learners’ needs.
Continuous Improvement: Embracing feedback and iterating on design to continually refine and enhance the learning experience.
I’m passionate about leveraging my diverse background to help organizations and individuals reach their full potential through effective learning solutions.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with family and friends —including cats and dogs— , getting some fresh air while disc golfing, and socializing while knitting or crocheting.
